Argos has launched collectable figures of the extraterrestrial family that stars in its advertising campaign.

Following an out-of-this-world customer response to the ad, the retailer introduced toy versions of Rufus and Astrid, the alien children who have been on screens since Christmas 2011. Argos will hope for plenty of close encounters of the customer kind.
