Tesco has teamed up with designer Eley Kishimoto to create a T-shirt for Climate Week in aid of the Environmental Justice Foundation.
The £10 t-shirt is organic, ethically made and manufactured by wind and solar power. The men’s and women’s t-shirts will be available in time for Climate Week on March 21 in-store and online.
Celebrities including Lily Cole, KT Tunstall, Gemma Arterton and Gillian Anderson have stepped up to model the geometric print t-shirts.
Climate Week’s Phil Drew said the t-shirt “represents the future of fashion: an item that’s as green as its message and doesn’t cost the earth, in all senses of the word”.
Tesco is headline partner of Climate Week. Climate Week is backed by the Prime Minister and Sir Paul McCartney to inspire the UK to combat climate change.
