Holland & Barrett is investing in AI footfall analytics in its latest tech push to “gain valuable insights” into performance across more than 1,000 stores in the UK.
The UK’s largest health and wellness retailer has partnered with MRI Software, a provider of retail property technology, to use the analytics technology.
The tech investment is the retailer’s latest after it announced a restructure of its operating model earlier this year “to help further accelerate its growth and transformation strategy”.
Holland & Barrett said: ”Accurate footfall analytics will help us to understand and optimise store performance in each region and country as we continue to use analytics and technology to enhance our consumers’ experiences in innovative ways.”
Jon Burnett, UK sales director for MRI OnLocation, said: “Our longstanding relationship with Holland & Barrett has truly allowed us to get under the skin of their customer needs and experience.
“We’re delighted to roll out this new AI technology as their footfall analytics partner, providing real-time insights to inform strategic decisions. This empowers the team at Holland & Barrett to pivot swiftly to market trends and maintain a competitive edge.”
