Holland & Barrett is launching a new store-in-store concept with Next this summer as it looks to “extend its reach to new customers”.

The health and wellness retailer is set to open three store-in-store concessions this summer as it embarks on a new partnership with clothing and homewares giant Next.

The Holland and Barrett is undergoing an “ambitious” transformation strategy

Holland & Barrett said the tie-in will help it extend its reach to new customers and will complement Next’s existing range of concessions.

Next customers will gain access to an extensive range of preventative health and wellness products along with a specially curated range of its top 1,000 products. These include health and wellness solutions covering leading brands, innovative services, sports nutrition and trending beauty.

The move is part of Holland & Barrett’s ongoing £70m investment in the transformation of its stores, technology and product development, which has seen it open and refit over 200 stores in the UK.

Nick Gerrard, property and format director at Holland & Barrett, said: “Holland & Barrett has an ambitious three-year transformation strategy to become our customer’s first choice for wellness products, advice services and solutions. To help achieve this we’re investing in revitalising our store experience, taking a flexible approach to space planning and piloting new locations and store footprints.

“We’re very excited to partner with Next with our brand-new concession formats which will complement Next’s retail offering, giving its customers easy and convenient access to the latest and trending health and wellness essentials.”
