Exclusive: Pureplay cosmetics brand BPerfect is to open its flagship store in Scotland this November, Retail Week can reveal.
Digital beauty and cosmetics brand, BPerfect will open its flagship store at Glasgow Fort, Scotland this November, in a move that “reflects its growth and commitment to delivering an immersive in-person experience for customers”.
The brand was founded in Belfast by Brendan McDowell in 2012, and has since then grown to be stocked in over 2,000 stores throughout Ireland, the UK and worldwide.
The shopping destination is also set to open a 1,841 sq ft pop-up store of streetwear brand Bee Inspired founded by former professional footballers Steven Robb and Mark Corcoran.
The addition of BPerfect and Bee Inspired comes as Glasgow Fort continues to evolve and invest in its offering and has opened retailers such as Zara, Mango, Rituals and Primark in the last year.
Glasgow Fort had a footfall of over 16 million in 2023 and invested £7m in enhancing the visitor experience.
British Land retail leasing and commercialisation director Ross McCall said: “The addition of BPerfect and Bee Inspired is an exciting development for Glasgow Fort, and reinforces the shopping park’s status as a leading retail destination. Both brands have enjoyed remarkable success online, and we’re proud to provide the platform for them to take their business to the next level.
“We’ve seen a growing demand from brands that started online but now want to accelerate their brand recognition and affinity with a physical footprint. The combination of a great shopping environment, strong footfall, and a community of dynamic brands makes Glasgow Fort the ideal location for these businesses.”
