Superdrug and Savers have announced new benefits to help employees manage the cost-of-living crisis, including offering early pay and partnering with financial wellbeing and digital healthcare apps.
The health and beauty retailers have partnered with Wagestream, a financial wellbeing app that enables employees to track their earnings, helps with budgeting and saving, and gives access to its flexible pay feature allowing employees to choose when they get paid.
The retailers will also be launching a new DigiCare app before the summer, which will give employees access to a free digital GP and mental health and nutritional consultations, alongside second medical opinions and an annual health check.
Alongside these benefits, Superdrug and Savers also offer discounts for staff and family and friends of up to 40% on own-brand products, 20% off branded products four times a year, and 30% and 10% off certain products all year round.
Employees at the health and beauty retailer also get access to a 30% discount with Superdrug’s Health Clinics across a wide range of vaccines.
Amy Davies, people director at Superdrug and Savers’ parent company AS Watson, said: “The health and happiness of our team members are so important to us, and we want to do all that we can to support and encourage a happy and healthy life to everyone at Superdrug and Savers.
“We appreciate our team members are individuals with differing needs and so we try to offer a wide range of benefits, to help everyone be the best versions of themselves. These progressive benefits are so important in rewarding the amazing contributions our colleagues make every day.
“We have one of the most thriving apprenticeship schemes and know our colleagues to be the best, and so our aim is to attract talent early and nurture career progression within our businesses through competitive salaries, training and development opportunities and best-in-industry benefits.”
