Carpetright has reopened its Tottenham store nearly three years after it was burnt to the ground during the riots.
The landmark art-deco store was set alight by rioters in August 2011, and became on of the defining images of the crisis.
The Carpetright store has undergone extensive restoration, with the basement of the new-look shop now developed as a beds showroom. It reopened at the weekend.
Retailers in particular were targeted in the riots in 2011, which spanned four days and impacted cities nationwide including London, Birmingham and Manchester.
Carpetright store manager Paul Guyver said: “Having put a lot of hard work and investment into getting this new store up and running, we are thrilled that the time has finally come and we are really looking forward to welcoming as many customers to the store as possible.”
