Beauty retailer Ulta has reported net sales increased 17.6% to $322m (£219m) for the second quarter ended July 31, 2010. Like-for-like sales increased 10.8% and net income increased 127.2% to $13.1m (£8.9m). Ulta chief executive Lyn Kirby said: “The results include a 10.8% like-for-like sales increase for the quarter, generated from both an 8% increase in customer count and a 2.8% increase in average ticket.”
