Fashion group Oasis has invited key staff from Karen Millen, which it bought last Friday for£120 million, to the head office for a meet and greet.
Oasis chief executive Derek Lovelock, who will head the enlarged group, said he had invited Karen Millen's design, merchandising and production teams to take part in a brainstorming session on how to merge the two businesses.
'We want to work with them. We will be looking at every area of the business, especially the supply chain, for synergies,' he said.
The Baugur-owned business, which has total sales of£350 million and encompasses fashion chains Oasis, Coast, Karen Millen and Whistles, plans to open 50 shops a year.
