LK Bennett’s private equity owners Phoenix Equity Partners and Sirius have begun discussions with City advisers.
The move comes as sales at LK Bennett have boomed as a result of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton wearing its nude-coloured shoes.
The 51-store retailer reported sales rose 15% to £94.1m last year while underlying annual profits also rose 15% to £62.7m driven by international and online sales.
Phoenix and Sirius acquired a 70% holding in LK Bennett in 2008 in a deal understood to be worth about £100m.
LK Bennett has a presence in the US, where it has 13 stores, and the Middle East. It is also considering entering the Chinese market.
