Marks & Spencer will air its latest advertising campaign, in which product rather than celebrity models take centre-stage, tomorrow evening.
Using the tagline ‘For every woman you are’, Marks & Spencer’s advertising features women ranging from sizes eight to 16 and aged between 20 and 57. Along with the TV ad, there is a print ad to reflect each of the seasonal trends – military, ladylike, geometric and texture.
The print campaign will also make use of Aurasma technology, enabling consumer to see a digital e-zine in which the models ‘come to life’.
The ad campaign was created by Rainey Kelly Campbell Rolfe Y&R. The soundtrack is Edwyn Collins ‘A girl like you’ – it is the first time he has allowed his music to be used in advertising.
