My-wardrobe boss David Worby has left the etailer after the business was bought in a pre-pack administration deal.
Alex Cadwallader and Neil Bennett, directors at Leonard Curtis , were appointed joint administrators to Meemi Limited late last night. Nottingham-based Meemi Limited trades as My-Wardrobe.com.
The immediate sale of the business to Growth Capital Acquisitions saves 48 jobs, however 32 roles were lost.
MyWardrobe, which is now led by co-founder Andrew Curran, has plans for “new and innovative shopping concepts”.
The etailer recently merged its London and Nottingham offices moving all teams other than buying and merchandising to the East Midlands.
The premium fashion etailer stocks 200 brands including Belstaff, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Burberry Brit.
MyWardrobe.com chief operating officer Andrew Curran said: “We now face the future with confidence. I am pleased this difficult period is behind us and I am sure this much respected brand will now go from strength to strength. From this secure footing there is much to look forward to in 2014 and beyond”.
