Conran Shop managing director Nick Moore has left the furniture chain to “pursue other challenges”, it has emerged.
Moore, who has led Conran Shop since 2008, told Retail Week: “After five years it is time to pursue new challenges.”
It is thought the retailer is not seeking a replacement and that its chairman Jasper Conran, son of founder Sir Terence, will assume responsibility for running the chain day-to-day.
Moore, who previously led the UK arm of Italian furniture chain Natuzzi and before that was retail director at Orange, is taking time off before securing his next role in retail, it is understood. Moore left last month.
Conran Shop declined to comment.
