Pet specialist retailer Pets at Home has appointed former Britvic chief executive Paul Moody to the board as a non-executive director.
Pets at Home, which officially floated on the stock exchange last week, aims to benefit from Moody’s brand and marketing experience.
Moody’s background is in FMCG and food and beverage industries. He spent 17 years at Britvic and was chief executive for the past eight years, including helping the brand float on the stock exchange in 2005. He also drove Britvic’s growth in the UK and internationally.
Moody has been the boss of Food Freshness Technology since 2013.
Pets at Home chairman Tony DeNunzio said: “Paul’s background and extensive experience and understanding of brand, marketing and consumer dynamics will be particularly useful as we continue to expand and grow Pets at Home. He has a strong track record in consumer-facing industries and will be a valuable addition to our Board following our successful IPO.”
Moody joins after a raft of fresh non-executive appointments amid the IPO, which included Halfords chairman Dennis Millard as its non-executive deputy chairman.
