One New Change, the new shopping centre located in the City of London, is 90% pre-let or in solicitors’ hands.
Recent signings to the 200,000 sq ft scheme, which opens in the autumn, include Next, Hugo Boss, Phase Eight and Guess.
They will join retailers including Banana Republic, All Saints, Kurt Geiger, H&M, TopShop, Reiss, Hobbs and Marks and Spencer.
Land Securities developed the scheme, located opposite St Paul’s Cathedral and featuring a roof top terrace and a public viewing gallery, as well as office space and restaurants. It hopes to capitalise on the estimated seven million city workers and tourists who visit the area each year.
Land Securities retail manager for the London Portfolio, David Atcherley Symes, said: “We have created a really unique destination at One New Change, providing the high street retailing that has been missing from the City, together with some much needed independents and everyday services.
“With only three units remaining we are extremely pleased with the line up achieved and are confident that the shopping, combined with catering, a roof terrace and never before seen views of St Paul’s Cathedral will drive a seven day trade in the City and provide an unparalleled experience for visitors.”
The retail leasing agents are Knight Frank and CBRE.
