Radice (pictured) left M&S in June last year, after only one year, as part of a management overhaul by incoming chief executive Stuart Rose. Radice was at the forefront of the retailer's aborted Lifestore concept. Previously, he spent seven years as chief executive at Selfridges.
McArthurGlen chairman JW Kaempfer said: 'We have long admired Vittorio Radice for his dynamic insight into building brands and revitalising the retail experience. The fresh perspective he brings to design development, positioning, marketing and tenant mix will help us to stay ahead of the competition, and continue to serve and grow our tenant base.'
