RFID printer links to chips

Paxar has created an RFID printer aimed at retailers. The machine writes to EPC Class 1 RFID chips, producing smart labels and tags. It tests the chip, writes to the chip and then prints the barcode and readable text. The printer is already being used by many of Wal-Mart's suppliers.
