Sofa retailer CSL has launched a Lowest Price Guarantee initiative that promises shoppers the best price in the market and pledges to refund customers if a purchase is later reduced.
The sofa retailer has promised customers that if they find the same product for cheaper elsewhere before their sofa is delivered, it will refund the difference and give them an additional 10%.
In what it claims is a UK first, the Lowest Price Guarantee will also refund customers if the price of a sofa is reduced at CSL within six months of purchase.
CSL managing director Jason Tyldesley said: “In an economic period where every penny counts, most households are budgeting their income more closely and so transparency and consistency in our pricing is ever more important. We understand that it is frustrating for shoppers to purchase an expensive item only for it to be marked down soon after.
That’s why we’ve launched this revolutionary new pricing policy, to help change public perception that UK furniture retailers are always in Sale and to demonstrate to our customers CSL’s commitment to year-round great value.”
CSL has 25 stores across the UK.
