Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield registered increased tenant sales and “strong footfall growth” across all its locations.
The shopping centre owner of Westfield London and Stratford reported a 5.2% increase in total tenant sales for the first nine months in 2019.
Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield registered strong footfall growth during the period in its European and UK shopping centres – both reported increases of 3.1% and 3.9% respectively.
Rental income for the shopping centre division jumped 27.5% to €2,038.8m (£1,759.13m). Turnover for the group jumped 26.1% to €2,729.7m (£2,355.26m), which it attributed to the acquisition of Westfield Corporation.
Its property service arm reported a 9.3% uplift to €134.4m (£115.96m).
The landlord giant owns shopping centres across a number of countries including the UK, US, Spain, Germany and The Netherlands.
