Amazon has launched a new export tool that enables sellers in its Merchant Fulfilled Network (MFN) to reach more customers.
Sellers that are part of the programme can now export to 39 countries in Europe – including countries without an Amazon store such as Austria, Greece and Portugal.
The Export Central tool is part of a wider free-to-use European export programme that allows Amazon merchants to export from six countries: the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands.
Amazon said the European export programme drives traffic and conversions to seller listings and is available to all sellers even if they aren’t part of MFN or use fulfilment by Amazon.
Sellers can access international shipping settings from multiple stores at the same time in three clicks through Export Central.
Amazon vice president of seller services in Europe, Xavier Flamand, said: “We are always looking at ways to support our selling partners to grow their business and Export Central is a game-changer for Amazon sellers looking to expand their businesses across borders, especially in countries where Amazon does not operate a store.
“Sellers can now seamlessly list and ship their products across Europe with ease. Our programme eliminates many of the traditional barriers to international expansion, allowing entrepreneurs to focus on what they do best − creating and selling amazing products.
“At Amazon, we’re committed to empowering small and medium-sized businesses by providing them with powerful tools and services to reach customers globally.”
