Harvey Nichols has bolstered its existing loyalty scheme and will allow members to collect points and rewards directly through their bank card.
The luxury department store chain will incorporate fintech start-up Bink’s technology across seven of its UK stores including its London flagship before Christmas.
Harvey Nichols’ loyalty programme will be incorporated into Bink’s existing mobile app, allowing shoppers to track their points and redeem rewards from Harvey Nichols and other retailers that the fintech firm has partnered with.
Bink’s other retail partners include the Arcadia Group, Morrisons and River Island.
Harvey Nichols group acquisitions and retentions manager Rob Partridge said: “We’re delighted to be working with Bink, who have already made significant strides in the retail sector.
“As adopters of loyalty technology ourselves, we’re committed to streamlining our customers’ shopping experience and ensuring they can earn and redeem their rewards conveniently.
“For this reason, a simple add-on such as Bink’s Payment Linked Loyalty is the perfect solution for us.”
Bink founder and chief executive Lee Clarke added: “We’re thrilled to partner with Harvey Nichols; technologies such as contactless payments, mobile, and payment-linked loyalty are transforming the retail industry and we are delighted that Harvey Nichols are embracing these trends.
“We’re excited to help them form even stronger customer relationships and further enhance their popular loyalty programme.”
