Notonthehighstreet.com’s chief technology officer Hugh Fahy has left the business just a year after joining the etailer, Retail Week can reveal.
It is not clear whether Fahy, who joined the online retailer last February from Net-a-Porter, has departed the business to take up another role.
A spokeswoman for the retailer told Retail Week that it was “mutually agreed that he would step down and the business will move forward with the team he’s built beneath him.”
Notonthehighstreet.com’s technology director Dan Knight and product director Caroline Ohrn will jointly fill Fahy’s role on an interim basis, but it is understood that he may be directly replaced in the future.
During his time at the etailer, Fahy oversaw the roll-out of Apple Pay across the etailer’s mobile app and ecommerce website.
Chief executive Simon Belsham said: “The board and I would like to thank Hugh for his valuable contribution over the past year.
“Hugh has built a talented and highly skilled team, and has played an important role in helping to deliver our strategy to build the leading platform that connects small creative businesses with millions of customers the world over.
“We have a succession plan in place and our strategy remains unaffected.”
Notonthehighstreet.com drafted in Fahy last year as part of a clutch of executive level appointments, including David Phillips as chief financial officer and Hannah Webley-Smith as customer director.
