Torex HR solution will keep an eye on BFG's staff

The Big Food Group, owner of Iceland, Booker and Woodward, has signed up Torex Retail to make improvements to its payroll and human resources software.

The deal means less undetected time off for staff. Torex is providing time and attendance software to 950 Booker Cash & Carry and Iceland stores - Iceland's 750 outlets should have the software by the end of July.

The software sends information directly to BFG's SAP system. Absence management and employee details modules should be ready by September.

BFG believes better time-keeping will help it improve customer service.
