Electricals retailer Ao.com’s UK sales jumped 8% in its first quarter but sales in June slowed due to weaker consumer demand.
In Europe, Ao.com said trading was in line with its plan with sales in constant currency up 46.2%.
The retailer, which holds its AGM today, said it was “on track to deliver its long-term strategic plan” and the board’s expectations for the full year remain unchanged.
In its last financial year, Ao.com slipped further into the red, despite sales advancing 13.6m, as marketing costs from Britain’s Got Talent and the weak pound took its toll on profits.
