Carphone Warehouse hires McGrath Rainey Laird for 25th birthday campaign
Carphone Warehouse has tapped integrated agency McGrath Rainey Laird to manage its marketing campaigns, The Drum reported. The Leeds-based agency will create internal and consumer facing multi-channel communications campaigns to promote Carphone Warehouse’s 25th birthday celebrations.
Capita bags John Lewis call centre contract worth over £90m
John Lewis has awarded outsourcing company Capita a five year call centre contract worth £93.5m to manage one of its online operations. The deal will see the firm manage the retailer’s call centre for its internet shopping service. Capita will succeed French group Teleperformance. The customer contact centre will remain in Glasgow and 550 employees will transfer from Teleperformance.
One Stop hires Musgrave regional director John Miller as operations head
Tesco convenience chain One Stop has appointed Musgrave’s John Miller to the newly created role of head of operations as it aims to bolster its franchise management team. Miller will be joining the company in May. He will head business development, launch support and One Stop’s retail support centre. Miller is currently regional director for England and South Wales at Musgrave. He has been hired to help ensure ‘One Stop’s retail excellence is embedded within the franchise proposition’, a spokeswoman said.
