Hard discount retailer Bim’s net sales soared 23.5% to TRL6.57bn (£2.8bn) during the 2010 financial year. EBITDA reached TRL356.4m (£153m) with a margin of 5.4%, down from 5.9% in the previous year. Like-for-like sales grew 11.5%, due to increased customer traffic (up 7.7%) and higher sales per basket (up 3.5%). In Turkey, the number of stores climbed by 323 to 2,951. In Morocco, Bim added 19 stores to reach 44 at year end.
