Irisa director Giles Delafeld has left the group to head up online voucher specialist VoucherCodes.com.
Delafeld led Irisa’s, formerly known as Alexon, e-commerce, IT and marketing and had been at the fashion group for just over a year.
Owner of the Irisa Group, Sun European Partners, is planning to merge the back offices of the retail group with that of Jacques Vert which it acquired before Christmas.
Prior to his time at Irisa, which operates brands including Alexon, Kaliko and Ann Harvey, Delafeld headed up outdoor retailer Blacks’ online channel and before that he led Dixons Retail-owned Curry’s e-commerce team.
During his time at Dixons he launched its click and collect offer and helped drive sales at the electrical retailer past the £100m mark.
VoucherCodes.com sources discount codes and deals from over 6,000 stores and restaurants including Boots, Littlewoods, Argos and Asda and is projected to have 7m visitors to the site this month.
VouchersCodes.com founder James Carter said: “We are thrilled to have been able to bring Giles on board and we are very confident that he will take the business to the next level. This is a big opportunity for the company to make use of his retail experience and entrepreneurial flair.”
