N Brown has appointed Ivan Fallon as its deputy chairman and brought former news reader Anna Ford on to the board as a non-executive director.

Fallon is chief executive of Independent News & Media (UK) and a director of its parent company.

Fallon has been a non-executive director of N Brown for several years and is chairman of its remuneration committee.

Ford worked in TV and radio for 30 years and is currently a non-executive director on the board of Sainsbury’s.

N Brown’s group chairman Lord Alliance said: “Their appointments come at a very exciting time for N Brown Group as we continue to develop the company and advance our expansion plan."
