So, basically retailers are loaned money to produce waste that they can never pay back.

The banks loan money they never had in the first place, so that consuming companies can reduce consumption costs through high volume consumption, this in turn encourages consumers to, erm, consume in higher and higher volumes. And this is sustainable how?

Come on people - wake up... this kind of economics is not sustainable considering that we have finite resources.

You see while people are told that it's good to spend more to get us out of the recession. It's actually all lies. What really happens is that people are persuaded to spend to keep the richest 1% of the population rich as they are so egotistical and short-sighted they cannot see a world without money.

What am I doing in this god-forsaken industry I don't know.
