Retail display equipment manager AMS has been bought out by two of its directors. The deal, worth more than£5 million, sees ownership of the company pass to managing director Jim Clark and operations director Ian Parr.
The majority shareholding in the company was previously held by chairman John Sharp, who will continue in the role.
Redditch-based AMS em-ploys 240 people and had a turnover of more than£16 million last year. Clients include Tesco, McDonald's, Carphone Warehouse and Specsavers.
The delisting of Debenhams last year also strengthened the company's portfolio. Sales and marketing director David Hyde said: 'We went from providing about 60 per cent of Debenhams' equipment to close to 70 per cent, following its sale.'
