Inditex-owned fashion chain Bershka revealed the makeover of its Oxford Street flagship on Wednesday.
The new look, a world first for Bershka, creates the feel of a nightclub, with a dark interior and a sound system with large speakers built into the pillars on all three floors. The store also features a “club” area in the basement with a turquoise frosted velvet sofa and LED-lit walls. The fascia has also been changed, from orange and white to grey with a white font.
Inditex UK and Ireland managing director Dilip Patel said that the aim was to extend dwell time, adding that all future stores would use the model.
