Amazon is opening its third warehouse in Doncaster next year to strengthen its fulfilment offer, creating 500 permanent jobs.
The etail giant is developing a new fulfilment centre in iPort and is recruiting a variety of roles for the warehouse, ranging from operation managers to engineers.
The 500 new jobs the warehouse will create will be in addition to the 3,500 roles that Amazon plans to recruit by the end of the year, bringing its total number of UK employees to 15,500.
Amazon, which also plans to open two new fulfilment centres in Manchester and Leicestershire in the autumn.
Vice-president of UK operations John Tagawa said: “We already have two fulfilment centres in Doncaster so know from experience that there is strong talent in the region who would be well suited to working for Amazon.
“We look forward to hearing from people to fill a range of roles you would expect of a business like Amazon, from specialist professions such as engineering, HR or IT, through to large strategic leadership roles and people to fulfil customer orders maintaining our customer promise.”
