Amazon is expanding its Digital Media Development Centre in London, creating 100 new technology jobs.
The etail giant opened the development centre in September and is looking for 100 new software development engineers, user-interface experts and graphic designers.
The centre houses design and development teams for Pushbutton and LoveFilm, two Amazon companies. It creates new digital media projects including interactive services for TVs, game consoles and smartphones.
The centre also works on the development of the digital media experience on Amazon websites around the world.
Paula Byrne, managing director at the development centre, said: “We have always known that there is a wealth of tech talent here in London and we continue to look for the most creative minds in the UK to work on the next generation of TV and film services for Amazon customers all over the world.”
