Missguided’s website has crashed as an increase in traffic from a half-price Sale left customers unable to complete orders.
Customers were left irritated this morning as the fast fashion etailer’s website crashed, with many turning to social media to express their anger. The website went down at around 10am and was still down at 1:30pm.
@Missguided if you do an offer, make sure your website can handle it. Just seems stupid. This is why I don't shop with you often. Chaotic 🙄

Missguided responded to customers via its customer help Twitter account.
Thanks for your patience, guys. We're working hard to get our site back up and running ASAP, & don't fret - we'll be extending the offer! 💘

The etailer could not be reached for comment at the time of publication.
Other retailers to have suffered similar technical problems include Net-a-Porter, Tesco, Game, Argos and Curry’s, which all experienced problems during Black Friday 2014. Argos experienced the same problem for a brief period during 2015.
