John Lewis Oxford Street is to unveil its overhauled beauty hall next week ahead of the Jubilee and Olympics, where it expects to wow shoppers.
The retailer expects the £8m revamp to generate a 35% uplift in sales.
The beauty hall has been expanded from 8,000 sq ft to 12,000 sq ft, with new brands added including Jo Malone and Topshop make-up.
The new look, by consultancy gpstudio, is designed to create a ‘branded house’, giving the brands “room to breathe”, according to Amanda Scott, head of buying for women’s accessories and beauty.
