Retail Week Live kicks off its two-day conference in London today, with speakers including Sebastian James and Lord Peter Mandelson.
Dixons Carphone chief executive Sebastian James will deliver the prestigious opening speech this morning, and will provide insight into one of the most significant mergers of the last decade and the business’s long-term strategy.
Following James, former Labour Party politician and chairman of the Global Counsel Lord Peter Mandelson will talk to delegates about pressing retail policy issues in Europe.
Four stages of speakers and panel sessions will cover topics including: technology, customer experience, innovation and start-ups, the economy and equality.
As well as a 40-strong exhibition hall, the Retail Week news desk will be going to print live from the event floor in front of more than 1,000 attendees.
The two-day event concludes on Thursday evening with the 20th anniversary of the Oracle Retail Week Awards.
