Discount supermarket Lidl has rolled out its Plus rewards and loyalty app in the UK today, a month after it first launched in Ireland.
The Lidl Plus app offers customers four new coupons on different products every week and Coupon Plus, a reward scheme whereby customers will get £10 off their next shop if they spend £200 or more a month.
The app also features digital scratchcards and receipts to allow customers to keep track of their spending without the need to carry paper around.
Lidl said that app customers will also be offered “exclusive discounts and benefits from our partners”, such as Sky.
Customers will unlock rewards by scanning the app when they shop in Lidl stores.
The app first rolled out in the Republic of Ireland last month.
At the time, Lidl Ireland managing director John Paul Scally said: “Through the Lidl Plus app, we offer our customers a range of additional services, such as a store locator and digital receipts, which we hope will add to an overall positive shopping experience with Lidl.”
Lidl also said that UK customers will be able to use the app in other Plus-enabled countries, such as Austria, Denmark and Spain.
The Lidl Plus app is available for download on both Apple IoS and Google Android devices.
