Car accessory and bike retailer Halfords is taking a new route to market by selling own-label motoring accessories through BP forecourt shops.
Halfords-branded chamois leathers, de-mister pads, tow ropes and L-plates are among the items making their debut in 300 forecourts nationwide, as part of the exclusive deal.
BP category controller Allan Abernethy said: 'This initiative adds a new dimension to the extensive range of convenience and top-up products available at BP.'
CVC-owned Halfords has reportedly signed Merrill Lynch and Citigroup to advise on a spring IPO that could value the retailer at up to£1 billion.
