American premium eyewear retailer Oliver Peoples is on the hunt for its first standalone store in London as the company looks to make its retail debut in Europe.
Oliver Peoples, which has eight stores in the US and three in Japan, is thought to be seeking a 1,000 sq ft space in Mayfair.
Harper Dennis Hobbs, which specialises in bringing US retailers to the UK, is working with Oliver Peoples.
Harper Dennis Hobbs director James Ebel is said to have led negotiations on properties on Mount Street and Bruton Street.
Oliver Peoples was founded in California in 1986 by Ken Schwartz and Larry Leight. It has stores in locations such as Chicago (pictured), Las Vegas, Malibu and Los Angeles.
