Health food retailer Holland & Barrett has appointed Peter Aldis as chief executive.
Aldis moves up from his current position as managing director following his key role in the acquisition of Julian Graves from Icelandic investor Baugur last month.
He replaces former chief executive Barry Vickers, who will stay on the board of the company in an advisory role. Aldis has been with Holland & Barrett for 18 years.
Commenting on his appointment, Aldis said: “It is an exciting time with the recent acquisition of Julian Graves. This will focus our minds on managing a successful multi-brand business.”
