House of Fraser agrees three-year deal with eCommera
House of Fraser has extended its ecommerce partnership with cloud software firm eCommera for a further three years as it looks to offer a multichannel experience for its customers, Essential Retail reported. The retailer’s website includes features such as a ‘super zoom’ function and simplified check-out process. The menu has also been simplified to encourage shoppers to browse by label.
Superfast broadband users spend extra £225m per year online
According to the Royal Mail, shoppers who have access to superfast broadband are spending an extra £225m a year online, the Telegraph reported. This figure is likely to grow to as much as £740m a year by 2017. Across the UK, every superfast broadband user is now spending an average of £23 a year more online.
