Online maternity specialist Isabella Oliver is targeting a 25% increase in sales for its current financial year after successful overseas growth drove the business last year.
In the year to April 30, the etailer hit sales of £8m, 50% of which came from overseas. It hopes it can achieve sales of about £10m in its current financial year.
The etailer, which was founded six years ago, said its aim is to be a global brand. Co-founder Geoff Van Sonsbeeck said:
“Right from the start we understood that the UK would not be our end game and as such we launched Isabella Oliver as a global brand.”
It said international has the biggest growth potential for the maternity market, and has customers in 77 countries.
Van Sonsbeeck added that the company made a small profit this year but expects that to grow this year.
