CDS Superstore, parent company of Wilko and The Range, has appointed a new head of property to help fuel its growing store expansion.
Antony Darbyshire joins the company’s senior leadership team with 30 years of retail property experience. He previously worked for brands including Matalan and Sports Direct.
Darbyshire will be responsible for the continued rollout of Wilko concept stores which first opened in December last year.
Wilko is set to increase the concept stores across the UK and Northern Ireland following launches in Exeter, Luton, Plymouth, Rotherham and St Albans. The Poole store will open on August 16.
Darbyshire will also expand the store estate of The Range which already has 200 locations across the country.
