House of Fraser digital director David Seeby is understood to have resigned from the business after six months in the role.

It is thought that Seeby, who joined House of Fraser from Marks & Spencer in January, is leaving the department store as he has decided to emigrate.

House of Fraser is understood to have replaced Seeby with Edwin Blanchard, poached from The Body Shop, where he was ecommerce director.

Departures

House of Fraser, which is owned by Chinese conglomerate Sanpower, is in the process of rebuilding its senior team following a raft of departures over the past 18 months.

Those who have left the retailer include chief executive Nigel Oddy, supply chain director Ray Kavanagh, chief customer officer Andy Harding, director of global multichannel trading Martin Francis, clothing and accessories boss Jackie Hay and head of home, food and beauty Ysanne Jenkins.

In May, the retailer hired chief executive Alex Williamson from Goodwood Group, to take the reins at the end of this month, and last week hired chief people officer Michelle Maynard from Aviva.

House of Fraser declined to comment.
