Value retailer Wilko has launched on Deliveroo to give customers access to on-demand delivery of thousands of home and garden products in as little as 25 minutes.
The collaboration between the two will see more than 3,000 products made available on the platform, including items in homeware, kitchen, DIY, garden, cleaning and petcare, as Wilko continues its high street expansion.
The roll-out will begin across ten Wilko hub locations in October – Edinburgh, Bristol, Nottingham, Bournemouth, Eccles, Manchester, Bedford, Harlow, Plymouth and Leeds – and marks the first time Wilko has offered on-demand, rapid delivery.
Following the launch, the partnership will extend to a further 50 locations across the country by the end of the year.
Since the launch of Deliveroo Shopping in November last year, the platform has partnered with retailers including The Perfume Shop, B&Q, Screwfix, Ann Summers and Not On the High Street.
Customers can access products beyond groceries, such as DIY, homeware, toys, flowers, baby items and gifts via the Deliveroo app.
