DIY retailer Homebase has launched what it calls Britain’s “Biggest Home and Garden survey” as it seeks to determine the public’s tastes when it comes to the home.
Homebase, owned by Argos parent Home Retail Group, has launched the survey in conjunction with its loyalty partner Nectar, meaning the survey will reach more than 6 million consumers.
The retailer said the survey act as a “barometer” of the nation’s home and garden tastes.
Consumers who complete the survey can find out what sort of DIYer or gardener they are, based on the answers they give. They can be classed as ‘Bodger’, ‘DIY nut’ and ‘green gardener’, for example.
The survey, created by marketing agency Meteorite, is hosted online at www.nectar.com/homesurvey, and will go live on October 14 (Wednesday) at 5pm.
Homebase head of multichannel and loyalty Richard Bruce said: “We are extremely excited about launching ‘Britain’s Biggest Home & Garden Survey’ in partnership with Nectar.
“As one of the UK’s leading home and garden retailers we are uniquely placed to be the voice of the nation when it comes to truly representing how our attitudes, tastes and behaviours are changing towards our home and gardens – not only in times of recession but as we look forward to the next decade.”
