Dixons has introduced a new collection method in its Irish stores where shoppers will be able to pick up online orders in one hour.
The Order and Collect service allows shoppers to reserve an item online and collect and pay for it in store one hour after booking.
It is now available in 17 stores and will roll out to all of the retailer’s 28 Currys and PC World stores in Ireland by the end of October.
The service is available across its range from computers to white goods. Dixons offers a similar option, called Reserve and Collect, to online shoppers in the UK and Northern Ireland.
Dixons is the biggest electricals retailer in Ireland and launched transactional websites in the country in 2011.
