Upmarket food retailer Fortnum & Mason has brought a ‘taste of Piccadilly’ to London Heathrow Terminal 4 by opening a new pop-up store.
The retailer said the new airport pop-up is a celebration of the 10 year anniversary of Fortnum & Mason’s first partnership with the airport, will allow customers to explore its products before they depart for their trips abroad.
Situated alongside other luxury retailers in the terminal, the store has been designed to replicate travel trunks which have sprung open to “reveal a multitude of Fortnum’s treasures”.
The centrepiece of the pop-up store is a model hot air balloon hovering at its centre, and features a selection of the brand’s products such as its tea blends, sparkling tea, biscuits, preserves and other sweet treats.
The store will also offer customers the chance to leave personalised messages on their purchases and gift boxes will also be offered to “also provide customers with easy gifting solutions when en route to see friends and family”.
The pop-up store opened today and will remain open until September 2025.
