Department store House of Fraser has launched its overseas delivery service as part of plans to achieve a 150% increase in online sales by the end of the year.

The department store now delivers to more than 20 countries across Europe, the US, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Womenswear, menswear and kidswear is available for international delivery and own-brands including Linea, Episode and Howick are available for delivery in Europe within three to five working days for a charge of £6.

Delivery to the US will cost £6 and take between three and seven days. Delivery to South Africa, Australia and New Zealand will cost £10 for a three to seven working day delivery.

In February Robin Terrell, formerly managing director of John Lewis Direct, was appointed executive director, multi-channel and international, charged with leading growth overseas and online at House of Fraser. In September last year, the department store also outlined plans to expand its bricks-and-mortar offer overseas on a franchise basis.

Terrell said: “As part of our wider multi-channel strategy, an international delivery option enables House of Fraser to delight customers at home and abroad. This service will contribute to the continued success of houseoffraser.co.uk by allowing our UK customers to organise direct deliveries to friends and family living abroad, as well as engaging with new overseas customers.”
