Boden is to launch a pop-up shop in Birmingham’s Bullring later this month.
The catalogue fashion retailer will open up the temporary store on the upper level of the Midlands’ shopping centre from August 31 until Christmas.
The company said that it will open the store to showcase its autumn womenswear range. Retail property advisors Harper Dennis Hobbs have advised Boden on the store opening.
Boden, founded by entrepreneur Johnnie Boden in 1991, has built a substantial catalogue and online business selling womenswear and childrenswear.
Boden’s UK marketing director Richard Bell said: “The Bullring has a real buzz that’s perfect for our brand in 2012. In a year when the Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics are celebrating the best of British, we wanted to give new customers the chance to discover versatile, everyday clothes with a uniquely British flavour - right on their doorstep.”
The retailer has recently expanded its international reach into new markets including the US and Germany.
Boden’s annual sales rose by 15% to £232m last year as profits increased by 13% to £32.5m. The company, which counts Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha, came under fire from bloggers earlier this year for being too expensive and “smug”.
